Anzhi plan to test Arsenal's resolve over skipper Robin van Persie in January.

Van Persie has put off new contract talks with the Gunners until the end of the season, which has encouraged interested clubs.

Among pursuers are Anzhi, where owner Suleyman Kerimov is a big fan of the Dutchman.

Roberto Carlos, Anzhi's player-coach, has recommended Van Persie's signing to Kerimov and he's ready to make a bid for the in-form striker in January.
