Watford full-back Ikechi Anya was left disappointed with his side's wastefulness in front of goal in the 2-0 defeat to Liverpool.
The 28-year-old believes that the Hornets should have scored a couple of goals at Anfield on Sunday and admitted his disappointment after coming away without anything to show from a decent display.
"We're disappointed. I feel like we did enough to score a couple of goals, especially in the first-half, and I think we can look at that with disappointment," he told Hornets PlayerHD.
"We conceded two goals through mistakes, I was culpable for the second one and for the first one we all turned off, but I think on another day we could've gone into half-time ahead.
"I feel like we're just missing that clinical edge that we had at the start of the season.
"We could have made it 1-1 when Iggy [Odion Ighalo] turned his man and the keeper made a great save, but then we conceded the second and it's difficult to get back into it."
