Antwerp midfielder Arthur Veermeren is in Madrid today.

The teenage Belgium international will attend Atletico's Copa del Rey quarterfinal against Sevilla tonight.

An agreement between Atletico and Antwerp is yet to be struck, though negotiations are close to being concluded.

Vermeeren was a target for clubs across Europe, however Atletico are set to win the battle for his signature.

A deal is expected before the weekend.
