Antonio Valencia is considering his options at Manchester United.
The Sun says the Ecuador star, who has captained the side regularly under Jose Mourinho, can sign a pre-contract elsewhere at the start of March.
Valencia's deal runs out at the end of the season but United have an option to extend his nine-year stay by another 12 months.
However United's money men have to commit to that by March 1 or the winger turned right-back, 33, is free to negotiate with a new team.
There is interest from German and Turkish clubs and any decision to sign a mid-season deal could further disrupt a difficult campaign for the club.
