Chelsea are in talks with Italy coach Antonio Conte.
The Daily Star says the meeting between Conte and Chelsea's top brass is understood to have been held in London towards the end of last month.
Conte in high on Roman Abramovich's list of candidates to replace interim boss Guus Hiddink, along with Juventus coach Massimiliano Alegri and Manchester City's Manuel Pellegrini.
Both Conte and Pellegrini will both be available this summer as the Italian's contract with his country is up after Euro 2016 and the Chilean is being replaced at City by Bayern Munich's Pep Guardiola.
