Another dramatic finish in Old Firm derby

Sunday's Old Firm derby between Celtic and Rangers failed to disappoint yet again with a dramatic 2-2 draw in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup. Teenage sensation Jamie Ness kicked things off for 'Gers at Ibrox with a third-minute special, swerved through a heap of bodies from 25 yards before Celtic signing Kris Commons restored parity 13 minutes later with a neat side-footer from a Joe Ledley pass.

Around the 40-minute mark, Hoops keeper Fraser Forster was sent off for his challenge on Steve Naismith for which referee Calum Murray awarded a penalty to the home side.

Steven Whittaker stepped up to the spot and fired past substitute keeper Lukasz Zaluska to give his side the lead just before half-time.

However, Hoops skipper Scott Brown again leveled the score with a 65th minute curling left-footer before more drama ensued when Naismith was shown his second yellow card, this time for diving in the box from a Charlie Mulgrew challenge.

With both sides being reduced to ten man, it set up a tantalising finish with Celtic enjoying the better of the chances late but could not edge their rivals in what was another classic derby between the Glasgow giants.
