Former Real Madrid striker Nicolas Anelka has offered his advice to AS Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe.

Anelka says Mbappe reminds him of Ronaldo and believes he should use the Brazilian as an example to follow.

He explained: "He reminds me of Ronaldo of the 1996 Olympics. He has the characteristics of a world-class player and he must manage them properly.

"He must choose between being Ronaldo or Anelka.

"If he is like me, it means that he is one of the best strikers, with a strong character, whether you like him or not.

"If you follow Ronaldo's career, 'O Phenomenon' and my model in football, he will be one of the legends that has made history in the sport.

"This is what I wish for, but he can also reach the career of Raymond Domenech and be a striker in France."
