Nicolas Anelka says he's happier when playing alongside Didier Drogba in Chelsea's attack.
Chelsea go to Wolves today with both strikers expected to start.
Anelka is now a veteran of 300 top flight games in England, having started as an 'on the shoulder' style centre-forward, gradually developing his talents to that of a more subtle frontline player, who often likes to drop deep and involve himself in the build-up play.
This, he explains, is partly due to frustration when things are not going as planned.
"Sometimes, because I like to play and touch the ball, to participate in the game, so sometimes yes, but when you play this kind of position you have to be patient, that's the way it is up front," Anelka told his club's website. "You need to wait for the right moment to score and it's something you get used to.
"With Didier Drogba up front I can go into the space or drop, and I like the position. It's good to have Didier because he is a good target for the team."
