Andriy Lunin pleased helping Real Madrid to victory at Elche

Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin was happy with a clean sheet for victory at Elche.

Lunin acted as cover for Thibaut Courtois and helped the visitors to a 3-0 win.

He later said: "It was a tricky game because we had three goals disallowed, but we were aggressive defensively and caused problems up front. We put in a good performance and we had control of the game. This team requires you to be focused and you prepare for that every day by working with the best players and coaches.

"You always have to be ready from start to finish, continuing to play the same way and staying organised defensively, it's key to winning. Keeping a clean sheet is always a positive, both for the goalkeeper and the rest of the team. I'm really enjoying how the team is playing, it's an incredible feeling. You enjoy it from the outside when you're not playing and also when you're playing.

"It's easy, I play for the best club in the world. My whole family and I are very happy and I enjoy myself every day. Every day I work with the best, they're good teammates, it's a fantastic group with a great team spirit. Training is at done at a high level, putting in a lot of work physically and technically."
