Vasco da Gama youngster Andrey Santos is in London to complete his move to Chelsea.

The Brazilian has been pictured in London celebrated the New Year as he prepares to undergo a medical ahead of his move to Stamford Bridge.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues will pay a fixed fee of €12.5million (£11million) for Santos who is expected to complete a medical in the coming days after an agreement had been reached for his transfer.

Todd Boehly is expected to back Graham Potter with a number of new signings in the January transfer window.

Football.london reports the Blues are in the market for a striker, central midfielder, centre-back and back up option to Reece James.

David Datro Fofana has already been signed by the Blues as the transfer window officially opens, although the Ivorian forward is expected to head out on loan until the end of the season. Boehly is continuing his trend of signing talented youngsters as he edges closer to securing a deal for Santos.
