Keith Andrews says Blackburn Rovers can have no complaints over their defeat to Sunderland.
The midfielder told the Rovers website: "We are bitterly disappointed, we played very well at times in the first and second halves.
"But ultimately we conceded two very sloppy goals on our part, it is something that we will have to look to eradicate sooner rather than later because we are conceding too many.
"We are creating chances at the other end but not putting them away and it is costing us. It isn't just the centre forwards either, it is throughout the whole team, there are balls bouncing to all of us and we are not sticking them in the back of the net.
"We need to have a good look at ourselves and work on it in training and hopefully put that right.
"But I do think that if we continue to do what we are doing, the general effort, the general play is quite good, I can only see it getting better.
"We didn't really get the rub of the green on anything against Sunderland so we are all bitterly disappointed, but there are some good points to take from the game and hopefully we can take them into next Saturday's game against rather than Tuesday as it is our bread and butter."
