Andres Guardado says he's happy at Real Betis.
The veteran Mexico midfielder has long appreciated the way he has been treated by Beticos.
“It's nice to see you make history with a team," said Guardado.
"I'm very happy because I've spent practically my whole career in the Spanish league. Even though I spent three and a half years abroad, between Holland and Germany, I feel like another Spaniard, although I'm a fully-fledged Mexican.
“When you reach a certain age, you tell yourself your reality and what you have to live with and today I am still confident. Off the pitch they make me feel important and valued, that's why I'm celebrating my sixth season here, because the coaching staff, the club and the fans still have confidence in me. I'm looking forward to continuing to enjoy myself. I'm still getting minutes."
