Andreas Pereira is returning to Manchester United.

The midfielder has spent the past year on-loan with Flamengo, where he helped the Brazilians reach the Copa Libertadores final.

Fla was expected to sign Pereira permanently this summer.

However, Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting the two clubs couldn't settle on terms over extending the loan into the new season.

Instead, Pereira will now return to United for the start of preseason training next month.
