Andreas Christensen is happy being promoted to the senior Chelsea squad this season.
Many of the 18-year-old's youth team-mates have gone out on loan, while he stayed and started training with the likes of Diego Costa and John Terry.
Speaking about his talks with manager Jose Mourinho, Christensen said: "He asked me to focus [more] on my physique. So that is what I am doing right now.
"Only a few months ago I was moved from Chelsea's youth squad to the first team.
"Yet I have only played friendly matches. My patience is not exhausted yet.
"Chelsea is a very special club. First team players are at a very high level. [Training with first team players] I still get a lot out of it.
"Not least John Terry who is a good teacher. The experience he has, I would benefit from."
