Everton star Andre Gomes is back in first team action.
The Portuguese central midfielder suffered a serious ankle injury earlier this season.
But he is back from the ankle dislocation he suffered in November to play 60 minutes in a behind closed doors friendly.
The club tweeted about Gomes coming through the friendly at USM Finch Farm without any problems.
And the club's medical staff believes the 26-year-old is on the verge of being available for the first team in competitive games.
He will continue to train, but it may be a couple of weeks before Carlo Ancelotti integrates him into the team.
