Manchester United midfielder Anderson says they'll be seeking an early goal against FC Basel tonight.

United know three points are expected and the Brazilian feels an early goal would help make things more comfortable.

"We have to win against Basel on Tuesday," he told ManUtd.com. "It's important we pick up our first three points and get to the top of the group because you never know what can happen in the Champions League. Tonight is our first home game in front of the fans and we need to win it.

"I don't know a lot about Basel but if a team is in the Champions League that means they have quality. No matter who you play, you always have to do your job and everyone has to play well.

"It would be nice to score early. That always helps. We must do our best and make sure we win the game."
