Julian Baumgartlinger is expected to leave Bayer Leverkusen in January.

The Austria midfielder has been linked with Manchester United after being scouted last week.

La Derniere Heure says Baumgartlinger could be on the move after a battle to win over Bayer coach Roger Schmidt.

Anderlecht coach René Weiler is also keen and hoping to take the player on-loan in January.

"We will see if there is a midfield player with some experience, who can help us in the league," he said yesterday.
