Carlo Ancelotti wants Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo to join him at Real Madrid. Ancelotti is still attempting to gain a release from his contract at PSG, but Sportmediaset says Pirlo has already been sounded out about joining him in Madrid this summer.

Pirlo has a year to run on his existing deal and Juve are prepared to offer a new 12-month extension.

In contrast, Real's initial approach includes the security of a three-year deal for Pirlo to consider.

However, everything depends on Ancelotti convincing PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi to release from his contract.
