Ambrose urges Newcastle, Bolton target Zaha to stay with Palace

Darren Ambrose has told Wilfried Zaha he can fulfil his ambitions at Crystal Palace.

Ivory Coast teenager Zaha was the subject of a deadline-day bid from Bolton Wanderers, while Newcastle United have held a long-term interest.

Eagles ace Ambrose said: "Wilfried is a fantastic prospect.

"Every day in training he does something special which you don't see many players do. He has a fantastic future ahead of him but I hope he's not in the Premier League too soon.

"It happened to me when I left Ipswich for Newcastle and it's difficult to turn down when top clubs come calling. However, it wouldn't do him any harm to develop his game more at Palace."
