QPR are chasing Tottenham pair William Gallas and Jermain Defoe. The London Evening Standard says the Rs hope to send out a real signal of intent by signing Gallas and Defoe from Tottenham this summer.

Former Chelsea and Arsenal defender Gallas has already been linked with West Ham even though he still has one year left on his contract.

Meanwhile, Defoe has two years left on his current deal but Spurs may be tempted to sell if a club offer in the region of £10million.
