Amazon's Twitch to stream free Premier League games

Amazon has announced that its coverage of four additional Premier League games this season will also be available to watch for free on Twitch, the internet giant's gaming-focused streaming platform, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The top-flight English soccer fixtures will be co-streamed by prominent Twitch personalities, also enabling fans to interact with each other during the games using the platform's chat function.

It will mark the first time Premier League games have streamed on Twitch, which holds a handful of partnerships in sport with the likes of North America's National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and Australia's National Basketball League (NBL). Amazon has also aired its National Football League (NFL) Thursday night coverage on the platform in recent years.
