Alvaro Morata is loving life with Atletico Madrid.

The striker quit Chelsea for Atletico last January.

"On a personal level, I feel at home," Morata noted.

"I'm very comfortable with my teammates, with the people at the club, and on a professional level it's been a very important year."

He was just named Atletico's Player of the Month.

"It's always a reason to be happy, proud, a reason to keep working, just like our teammates," Morata said.

"We're on an upward path for us; everyone wants to be on top in these months but what counts is where you are in June.

"We've got work ahead of us."
