Almeria defender Chico is excited about the interest from Sevilla.

Chico is happy with the attention and at the potential opportunity to join one of La Liga's big guns, but at present he is looking no further than the trip to Valladolid.

"For me, as a footballer and a person, it's a source of pride that a team like Sevilla could be looking at you," said Chico, who has started 17 of Almeria's 19 league matches this season.

"Along with Valencia, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona, they are one of the greats of the league and it's very satisfying," he said in AS.

"(But) now the only important thing is Sunday where we have a very important game against Valladolid. Almeria are my priority and I owe them. I'm not thinking about anything else at this moment."
