Almeria are eyeing Barcelona outcast Alex Collado.
Sport says Collado is not registered for the first team or the B team due to a summer transfer falling through. Therefore, he's not been able to play a single minute this season.
Summer moves to Club Brugge and Sheffield United fell through.
A few days ago, there was a meeting between Almeria's Joao Gonçalves and Barça's Ramon Planes. In said meeting, Collado's name came up with regards to a possible loan move to the second division side.
Other young players at Camp Nou were also mentioned.
Barça and Almeria have a good working relationship. Jordi Escobar joined Barça's B team this summer and Sergio Akieme moved the other way in a permanent deal after a successful loan. Defender Chumi previously left Barça for Almeria as well.
