After defeat to Blackburn Rovers, Tottenham caretaker boss Clive Allen revealed new manager Juande Ramos visited the players briefly after the game.
Former Seville boss Ramos then introduced himself to the players before delivering a pep talk to his despondent troops.
Allen, who took charge of Spurs yesterday following Martin Jol's sacking last week, said: "I met Juande after the game as the players did. He came in and spoke briefly to them.
"He comes with a fantastic reputation for the superb team he built at Seville and the success they have achieved.
"He said: 'I'll see you Monday morning, we start tomorrow morning' which I think makes sense."
