AC Milan coach Max Allegri was disappointed with his team after drawing 2-2 with Torino.
Milan needed to fight-back from going 2-0 down to earn a point.
"Four minutes from the end we'd lost this, but the lads did well to believe. Torino played well, caused us a lot of problems and we left ourselves too open to their counter-attacks," moaned Allegri.
"We have changed some things in our system, so it takes time to rediscover our balance. At the moment we are too soft in defence - by which I mean the whole team is not effective enough when defending. It's not good enough."
After three Serie A rounds, Milan have a win, a draw and a defeat.
"I am not pessimistic or worried," continued Allegri on Sky Sport Italia.
"We have to sort a few things out, but we did well in certain ways and must learn how to break down teams like Torino. This was similar to the game we won at the death last season."
