Allegri keen for players to stay grounded as AC Milan go clear

AC Milan boss Max Allegri is eager to keep his players feet on the ground after their 2-0 victory over Cesena.

The result has seen Milan go four points clear at the top of the table.

"We are not breaking away, but it is a nice victory," said the Coach. "We're in an emergency situation, but the team played well, except for the opening 20 minutes.

"I'd say the win was deserved. We created many scoring opportunities and the three forwards combined well, but were helped by a midfield that always tried to get the ball up to them quickly."

Antonio Cassano made his first start for Milan and Allegri added: "Cassano looked good and did some important things. I thought after Thursday's Coppa game that he would drop in his intensity levels, but he proved me wrong there."
