Allegri insists AC Milan won't sign Merkel replacement

AC Milan boss Max Allegri doesn't expect to enter the transfer market for a midfield signing.

The Rossoneri are struggling with an injury crisis in midfield that has deteriorated with news Alexander Merkel will be out for eight weeks.

“Do we need to buy another midfielder? No, I wouldn’t say that. I’m not worried because tonight Urby Emanuelson played well and his form is improving. He played with the ‘wrong’ foot, because despite the fact Antonio Nocerino is right-footed, he gives his best on the left flank,” said Allegri after victory over Cagliari.
