Leeds United boss Sam Allardyce's assistant manager for the rest of this season will be Karl Robinson.
The veteran manager affectionately called “Big Sam" is being tasked with saving the Elland Road club's season.
Leeds have four games remaining to avoid the drop, with those matches including taking on Manchester City at the weekend.
Per The Mail, Robinson will take the role many had expected would fall to Sammy Lee.
However, Allardyce's long-term assistant has jury service and cannot take on the job.
Robinson is 42 and has been a successful manager in the lower divisions.
