New Racing Santander owner Ahsan Ali Syed is ready to splash out to bring success to the club.

Ali Syed is finalising his takeover and has plans on raiding Real Madrid and Barcelona for fringe players to boost his Racing squad.

Real Madrid pair Pedro Leon and Mahamadou Diarra are on his shopping list, along with Barcelona's Bojan Krkic and Thiago Alcantara. Also under discussion is Sevilla's Luca Cigarini.

Ali Syed bought out Racing after discussing a similar deal with Blackburn Rovers earlier this season.
