Chelsea prospect Alfie Gilchrist has travelled with the first team to take on Manchester United.

The Blues are taking on the Red Devils on Thursday at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

With caretaker Frank Lampard seeing the club through the last two games of the season before departing, he is ready to give youth more of a chance in these games.

Gilchrist is a 19-year-old center-back who has impressed at youth level.

He was seen with the players entering The Hyatt Hotel in Manchester ahead of the game.

Whether he makes the bench or an appearance in the game is not yet clear.
