Alexis Sanchez has admitted his short time at Manchester United has left him exhausted.

The Chilean has scored just once in ten appearances since moving to Old Trafford from Arsenal in the summer.

His poor play forced Jose Mourinho to drop him for Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final win over Brighton.

The 29-year-old is currently on national team duty for Saturday's friendly against Sweden, which he initially asked to be excused from.

Sanchez posted a message on Instagram which spoke in the third person: "I know you are tired. I know you are psychologically and emotionally exhausted. But you have to smile and continue".
