Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ready for full Arsenal preseason

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is ready for a full preseason at Arsenal.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to return to Arsenal first-team training on Monday having recovered from the knee injury that ruled him out of Euro 2016, says the London Evening Standard.

Having missed out on England's disappointing campaign in France Oxlade-Chamberlain faces a potentially decisive season, his sixth at Arsenal, where he must deliver on the potential that convinced Arsene Wenger to part with £15million for a 17-year-old in 2011.

Manchester City and Liverpool have both monitored Oxlade-Chamberlain, whose contract is believed to expire in 2018. Over 32 injury-disrupted games last season, in which he played 90 minutes in just three league matches, the winger struggled to push on and establish himself as a regular starter under Wenger.
