Alessio Romagnoli is proud to have been named AC Milan captain for the new season.
The defender has taken the armband after Leonardo Bonucci's return to Juventus this month.
Romagnoli said, "Already being at Milan is beautiful, being captain is a source of great pride.
"I hope to honour the armband, as I hope to do. Every player must not set limits. I hope to improve and grow, I hope to grow under every point of view and to do my best for Milan."
On new teammate Gonzalo Higuain, Romagnoli stated: "I think Higuain is among the strongest strikers in the world. He scored so much wherever he played. I hope that he will continue to score and make us win the games."
