Aldridge confident Chelsea's Moses will want Liverpool stay

Liverpool legend John Aldridge feels they will sign permanently on-loan Chelsea winger Victor Moses.

Aldo wrote in the Liverpool Echo: "Moses is quick and skilful. His scoring record at Chelsea last season - 10 goals in 43 appearances - was decent considering he didn't start that often.

"It's a similar scenario to when we signed Daniel Sturridge. Moses has come to Anfield with a point to prove after not getting game-time at Stamford Bridge. Moses has actually gone out on loan to a bigger club which doesn't happen often in football.

"I'm sure sitting and watching Liverpool beat Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday will have put fire in his belly.

"The Nigeria international will be relishing the prospect of pulling on the shirt and playing in that kind of atmosphere.

"Moses will fit in well with the way we play and I don't think he will want to go back to Chelsea next summer."
