Liverpool legend John Aldridge wants them to spend big in January.
Aldridge has called on the club to hand boss Brendan Rodgers a substantial kitty to spent in January.
Liverpool lie 12th in the table and Aldridge said: "Rodgers needs to be given the backing to bring the cavalry in to get us goals in the second half of the season."
