Alcorcon midfielder Abraham Gonzalez on way to Chicago Fire
Abraham Gonzalez is close to signing with Chicago Fire according to recent reports.
The 26-year old Spanish midfielder, who has previously spent time with Barcelona, has held talks with the Fire and is on the verge of completing a deal ahead of the 2012 MLS season.
Abraham kicked off his career with Terrassa in 2004 before moving onto the Nou Camp with Barcelona B and managed one first team appearance for the Blaugrana in 2009. Following his time there, he played for Cadiz, Gimnastic and Ponferradina on loan prior to joining Alcorcon earlier this year.
