Albano Guaraldi has been named new president of Bologna.

Bologna held a Board of Directors meeting in which outgoing President Marco Pavignani tended his resignation.

He had only been in charge since January 21 and was always intended to be a stop-gap solution.

Guaraldi was voted in with Maurizio Setti as his Vice-President, becoming Bologna's fifth President in the last 10 months.
