Alaves defender Rafa Marin expects to stay where he is in January.

The 21 year-old is on-loan at Alaves this season from Real Madrid.

With Real in need of a centre-half signing with both Eder Militao and David Alaba sidelined due to an ACL injury, Marin has been mentioned as an option.

However, Marin has insisted he expects to remain with Alaves.

“I am very proud to be part of this team, through thick and thin," said the youngster on Sunday.
