Al-Nassr defender Laporte admits falling out with Man City boss Guardiola

Al-Nassr defender Aymeric Laporte admits he fell out with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola before last year's departure.

Laporte says he was frustrated with the lack of regular minutes he had at City.

"Guardiola usually says 'if someone doesn't want to be here, let him say it... and good luck'," he told Radio Marca.

Regarding the circumstances of his departure, Laporte said, "I made that decision also for the moment, I think it was the right one, due to life circumstances and also because of my situation at City.

"I had been playing there for a long time, I had managed almost everything and I came from two years playing in a position that was not mine. When one or two years go by and you don't play in the ideal place for you it is a little frustrating because you don't show the best of yourself."
