Al-Ittihad have tabled a £40m offer for Liverpool midfielder Fabinho.

The Saudi Pro League clubs are eager to wrap up a deal quickly for the Brazil international.

BBC Sport says the cash bid has been tabled and there is a confidence Liverpool will accept.

Fabinho has been left in Liverpool as the squad left for a preseason camp in Germany yesterday.

Fabinho has been at Liverpool since July 2018 after the Reds signed him from Monaco for a fee in the region of £39m.
