Al-Ettifaq have issued a joke apology to Liverpool after making a mistake on social media.

The Saudi Pro League club recently signed Jordan Henderson from the Reds in a big money deal.

However, their social channels showcased Henderson with the no.10 shirt and the initials E.F.C.

While the initials are short for the Saudi club's name, they also stand for Everton FC.

Their post said: "Sorry to all the @LFC fans for putting E.F.C on Hendo's [Henderson] back. At least it's not blue. Better get that number 10 kit before it runs out."
