Al-Ettifaq coach Gerrard plans Liverpool raid for Henderson

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has taken charge at Al-Ettifaq after doing an about turn.

Gerrard was first linked to the Saudi Pro League club two weeks ago, but appeared to have turned down the move.

Now he has signed on the dotted line and become the new Al-Ettifaq head coach.

Per The Mail, one of his first moves will be to target Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.

He is also assessing Alvaro Morata, as Al-Ettifaq look to match domestic rivals in going after top European-based talent.

Gerrard will earn a handsome wage in Saudi, after failing in the Premier League with Aston Villa.
