Al-Ettifaq coach Steven Gerrard has named Jordan Henderson as new captain.
Henderson's move from Liverpool was rubberstamped yesterday and he has had two days of preseason training with his new Al-Ettifaq teammates in Croatia.
The midfielder has penned a three-year deal with Saudi Pro League club and has now been named new captain.
Henderson, 33, leaves Anfield after 12 years with the Reds.
Gerrard has also overseen the arrivals of Scotland defender Jack Hendry from Club Brugge and France striker Moussa Dembele from Olympique Lyon in the last 48 hours.
Meanwhile, Al-Ettifaq defeated Rabotnicki 4-0 on Thursday night - a first win for Gerrard.
