Al Ain are determined to sign permanently on-loan Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan.

The Sun says Al Ain are confident of signing Gyan on a permanent basis in June.

Ghana striker Gyan, who is on a season-long loan from Sunderland, has led the club to their domestic title with 17 goals in 15 games.
