Al-Ahli have tabled an offer for Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara.

L'Equipe says the Saudi Pro League club have offered £12m for the Spain international.

Thiago is working his way back from another injury setback.

The 32 year-old is now inside the final year of his current deal and is the Reds' most senior midfielder.

Al-Ahli have just completed the signing of Franck Kessie from Barcelona.
