Ajax striker Ryan Babel admits the players are aware of Hakim Ziyech's imminent move to Chelsea.

It broke last night in Holland that Ajax and Chelsea had agreed a fee for the Morocco midfielder ahead of a summer switch.

Asked if he'd congratulated Ziyech, Babel told FOX Sports: "Not yet, only when it's official.

“We happened to be talking about it today at the table. What did I say? I keep that to myself."

Meanwhile, Ajax coach Erik ten Hag was much more open last night.

"I have known what Hakim wants for a long time, he is very clear about that," the coach told Voetbal International.

“If it comes around, I would only applaud that, because it's a fantastic club. We first have to wait until it is final, but if we are, we are very happy for Hakim. And then I am also very proud of him."
