Ajax defender Joel Veltman is aware of rumours linking him with West Ham United.

The versatile stopper was linked with the Hammers last week.

Indeed, Dutch media sources claimed West Ham would be making a €10 million offer for Veltman in the coming days.

After victory over FC Utrecht, Veltman was asked about the rumours.

"Of course you get to hear about this news: when I am going to London. But I have nothing concrete and have not heard from anyone," Veltman told Fox Sports.

"If there is anything happening in these eight days? I don't think so."
