Ajax defender Daley Blind was left fuming after his dismissal in their draw at Chelsea.
Blind and Joel Veltman were sent off as Ajax blew a 4-1 lead to draw 4-4 with their Champions League opponents.
“We are upset just like in the home game. And where is the video referee when you need it? It is a shame," Blind said, referring to the game in Amsterdam, in which a goal by Quincy Promes was canceled due to offside.
“I have seen the images. And everyone sees that my opponent first hooks me. That is a violation. Then (Joel) Veltman can no longer make a handball. And he didn't even make hands. He had his arm next to his body.
“We should not talk too much about a referee and always look at ourselves. But in the home match against Chelsea there were also debatable moments. I don't know what it is, maybe the referee couldn't handle the pressure."
