Ajax coach Frank de Boer is in the dark over claims AS Roma are in talks for goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

Roma have confirmed their interest in the Holland No1.

But De Boer says: "At the moment there is no interest in him.

"We now need to clarify if he is staying or not and whether he wants to sign a new contract.

"If he doesn't extend then he will probably be sold during the January transfer window."
